He worked "one on one" for an entire year with Dr Dawson treating mutual patients.  Dr. Cieri always offers this personalized care to his patients and does not delegate any segment of your treatment to his office assistants.  Your personalized care in all aspects is his passion.

In 1994, Dr. Cieri opened a second office, Derby Dental Associates, in Derby, CT to better service his patients in The Valley

In 2010, Dr Cieri moved his Wilton office to Georgetown, to a suite with first floor access and a more centralized location for his Wilton, Weston, Redding, Ridgefield, Newtown, and New Canaan patients.

Community Service:

Dr. Cieri served as a Board Member for the local Rotary International Chapter and the Wilton's Chamber of Commerce. He also helped bring new members to Our Lady of Fatima through the RCIA program, and served on the Advisory Board for Wilton High School.

As an Assistant Scoutmaster in Redding’s Boy Scout Troop 15, he led high-adventure backpacking trips to the White Mountains of New Hampshire, and taught winter and water survival skills.  He was a counselor for the Swimming, Hiking, Camping, Backpacking, Lifesaving Merit Badges, and continues to volunteer at the troop spaghetti fundraising dinners, Klondike Derbies, and camp outs.  He is the proud father of an Eagle Scout.

Dr. Cieri’s liaisons with school officials, vendors, and coaches were instrumental in the re-surfacing of the track at Joel Barlow High School, where he served as the track and cross country booster club president.

A few summers ago, Dr. Cieri cooked hundreds of hotdogs and hamburgers and washed cars to help his daughter’s team raise money for St. Vincent's Swim Across the Sound Cancer Fund.

He has ushered at Sacred Heart Church and has combined his passions for trail running and volunteering by working as Assistant Trail Manager and Trail Tender for the Saugatuck Falls Nature Area in Redding and tends the Powerline Trail.  He looks forward to running fishing clinics for young adults at Topstone Park and volunteering at the Fishing Special Olympics at Merwin Meadows. An active member of Trout Unlimited, he helps with fish releases, fishing clinics, and stream conservation efforts.  Lately, he can be seen at Cross Country and Track meets and jogging on his favorite trails--the Barlow Cross Country Trail, (his son, Bobby's Eagle Project), and the Saugatuck Falls Nature Area.

Interests:

In his spare time, when not adventuring with his grown children, both graduates of the Redding schools, Dr. Cieri enjoys fishing, hiking, backpacking, sea kayaking, running, bicycling, cross country skiing, and reading. He’s a “do it yourselfer,” and takes pride in maintaining his own home and property, including continually cutting down and splitting storm damaged trees and shoveling snow.

His son, Bobby, graduated from Duke University with a B.S. in Biology and B.A. in Physical Anthropology and after spending 5 months in the Galapagos doing research on Masked Boobies, is now at the U. of Utah Evolutionary Anatomy and Physiology Farmer Lab where he is pursuing a doctorate in Comparative Anatomy and Physiology and teaching Undergraduate Physiology.  He spends his free time skiing, hiking, and biking.  He spent many summers lifeguarding and finally as Waterfront Director at Topstone Park in Redding.

His daughter, Katie, graduated from the University of Virginia with a B.S. in Biology with a special interest in Marine Biology and Animal Behavior. She was president of TRI SIGMA Sorority and lifeguarded at the UVA Aquatic Center. She was a substitute teacher at JRMS and BARLOW, led field trips in Farm/Bees, Native American Lore, and Freshwater Ecology at New Pond Farm, and worked as a Vet Tech for Dr. Noonan in Weston.  For a few summers she was also Waterfront Director at Topstone Park in Redding. Since then she has been traveling the country pursuing research opportunities.  She was in Friday Harbor in the San Juan Islands in Puget Sound at the University of Washington Marine Lab doing research on the eating habits of the Sand Lance while watching pods of transient Killer Whales in the Salish Sea. In the winter she cataloged migrating Humpback Whales and rescued stranded sea turtles off the Virginia Capes, and moved on to being a research assistant in Salt Lake City at the University of Utah Farmer Lab researching the breathing habits of Pacific Tarpon. She is currently pursuing a Masters in Marine Biology at Moss Landing, in Monterey, CA.

Dr. Cieri's wife, Mary Pat, is also a graduate of Wilton High School and  Duke University, attended graduate school at the University of Wyoming and earned an MBA at the University of Oregon. She was previously active with the Redding PTA and PTSA, but now teaches at New Pond Farm and substitutes in the Redding schools when she is not swimming at the Wilton Y, hitting golf balls in the water at Ridgefield Golf Course, or surveying Horseshoe Crab populations on spring moonlit midnight high tides at Penfield Beach in Fairfield.  She loves to sail catamarans and lasers on the sound, bike and ski.  She is active in the Redding Garden Club and Kappa Alpha Theta.
